Your Notice of Intended Marriage must be lodged at least one month before your wedding day. However, it is often the very first step in getting married. What Identification Do I Need?
To complete your Notice of Intended Marriage you'll need proof of identity, such as your passport or birth certificate, along with photo identification. So think, Passport or Drivers Licence + Passport.
If you've previously been married, you'll also need evidence that the marriage ended, such as a divorce order or death certificate.
