From our initial meeting through to our big day Carina was a happy burst of energy that made picking a celebrant by far the easiest pick of the entire wedding. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and individually, and wrote us an amazing ceremony which was unique to us and loved by all who attended. While we were caught up in the whirlwind of emotions our guests have since told us that they didn’t once drift off during the 30 minute ceremony as she kept it funny, heartwarming and relevant to us! Our guests were raving about Carina all throughout the reception. We can’t thank Carina enough for helping us create some amazing memories and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Carina Burress made my wedding experience so easy and fun exactly how we like life to go. Thanks to covid 19 our original wedding had to be canceled and when we found carina it was like that was who we were always meant to see. Carina Burress The Wordsmith Marriage Celebrant, was a real standout. In particular, we told her that the Acknowledgement of Country and recognition of the Whadjuk Noongar People at the beginning of the ceremony was very important to us, and she went above and beyond to write an acknowledgement that was detailed, thoughtful and personal. After the ceremony, we had a lot of people ask if she was a friend of ours, which I think is a testament to her warmth and energy.

Carina took on the responsibilities of being both the Celebrant and Planner for our wedding.
As a celebrant we couldn't have asked for more. Carina spent time to understand both ourselves as individuals and the relationship we share. Through this she scripted a beautiful ceremony, written as if she had known us for all these years.
In addition, Carina conducted all the planning activities for the wedding. Engaging with all the vendors both before, on and after the wedding. This ensured the wedding went smoothly for all parties.
