Death is for the Living
Carina Quinn, Celebration of Life Celebrant | Perth, Western Australia

Death is complex. It’s hard, and it makes us feel all sorts of different things — sometimes all at once. I want to sit with you in that and normalise it. To remind you that however you’re feeling is okay. My role as a funeral celebrant is to help you find the words, the moments, and the meaning — for those who cannot speak, and for those who can’t quite get the words out themselves.
Storytelling,Compassion, Connection
I listen deeply — not just for facts, but for the small moments that reveal who someone truly was.
From there, I craft a ceremony that feels real and human — something their loved ones recognise instantly as them.
My work as a marriage celebrant taught me how powerful words can be in shaping memory and emotion.
As a celebration of life celebrant, I bring that same care, creativity, and storytelling warmth — to honour a life in a way that feels meaningful, personal, and healing.
Whether we’re remembering a quiet soul or a vibrant personality, I help you tell their story beautifully.
Finding Light in the Hardest Moments
I didn’t plan to become a funeral celebrant — the path found me.
When my Nanna passed away, I wrote her eulogy and discovered how healing it can be to put a life into words.
That experience showed me the importance of creating space for stories, for reflection, and for love — even in the hardest times.
I do this work because I believe that death is for the living — and that every farewell deserves to be full of dignity, warmth, and truth.
A Calm, Supportive and Genuine Process
I’ll guide you through creating a ceremony that feels right for your person — whether that’s something simple and heartfelt, or full of colour and energy.
Together, we’ll uncover stories, details, and memories that celebrate who they were, what they loved, and how they made people feel.
I’ll handle the structure and wording, so you can focus on what matters most — remembering and honouring your person.
- Every Story Deserves to Be Told with Care at the heart of every farewell is a story — and my role is to help tell it with love. Because even in loss, there is still life, laughter, and connection.
